Early Life and Education:
HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is one of the most prominent young leaders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who combined a bold vision with a deep commitment to serving their country.
HRH was born in 1407 AH (1986 AD). He was raised in a royal family known for its dedication to serving both religion and country, and continued his completed his university education at King Saud University in Riyadh where he earned a bachelor's degree in BA, which contributed to shaping his academic and administrative background.
His Vision and Leadership Approach:
The professional journey of HRH in serving the nation commenced with a number of prominent leadership positions, where he served as the deputy governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, he worked alongside HRH, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region.
Throughout that period, he contributed to supporting numerous developmental and community initiatives aimed at enhancing quality of life and promoting sustainable development across the region. In late 1440 AH, a royal decree was issued appointing HRH as Minister of the National Guard to lead this vital sector with a renewed vision that balances the preservation of the rich military legacy and the continuous modernization in line with the aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030. Since assuming this position, HRH worked to support national competencies, enhance the readiness of National Guard’s forces, and develop the administrative and technical frameworks to align with global developments in the fields of defence and security.
Alongside the ministerial portfolio of HRH as the Minister of National Guard, he also chairs 11 committees and councils in various sectors of the Kingdom, in addition to his membership in more than 55 committees and councils.
